J.R. Bateson — Videos

These videos offer a direct view into J.R. Bateson's practice — including footage from his linocut printmaking studio in Brixton, work in progress, and moments from exhibitions.

Linocut printing is a layered, physical process: each colour requires a separate piece of lino, cut by hand and run through the press one pass at a time. The result is a small edition of prints in which no two are exactly alike.
